at JackKnife, a bar in downtown Portland. After a night of dancing, Scott walked her safely to her car, exchanged numbers, and then, didn’t speak. A month later, they serendipitously met on their way into Outrage, a popular gaming bar in the city. They would meet this way a few more times and with each encounter, Alexandra felt more intrigued by both destiny and the mysterious engineer from Florida. Eventually, he caved to his feelings and took her out on a night in the city. But soon she learned he would have to return to Philadelphia and that there was no guarantee he would return to the PNW. 

Then one day, she hears news of his potential return. A year after they met, Scott would be a new hire for Intel in Oregon. With much jubilation, Alexandra was excited. Not only to potentially spark their ephemeral romance but to be reunited with a good friend! After countless dates that were not allowed to be called dates, Scott finally realized something. He might just have feelings for Alexandra. They had so much in common. Both of their families had deep roots in both Philly and Florida. They both shared a love for games and the great outdoors. Too many things overlapped. On March 21, 2021, they officially started dating.

Today, they live in the beautiful suburbs outside of Portland with their dog, Natasha, and their cat, Dexter. They enjoy hiking, disc golf, floating the river, and going to the beach in summer. During winter, you can catch them sliding down Mt. Hood on skis and snowboards, deep in board game campaigns at home, or cuddling up for a terrible B-Horror flick. 

After what Alexandra describes as “the perfect engagement” on June 14, 2024, they’re happy and excited for the future. Scott and Alexandra have found love in one another and would like to thank you all for being a part of their story.
